Elizabeth Reaser has a career as an American television, film and stage actor. Her most famous role is The Twilight Saga (film), Greys Anatomy (series) as well as True Detective. Elizabeth was raised and born in Michigan, US. In her youth she developed a love for acting. In the years following the graduation of high school She enrolled at the Juilliard School's drama department. She earned a bachelor of fine arts. A guest star role in The Sopranos she had her first TV appearance. In the following years, she was a guest in other successful shows such as The Jury Hack, Standoff, and The Jury. In 2006, she had a major career break when the part of Alice Alden was offered to her on the television show Saved. The actress was then cast in important parts on Greys Anatomy, The Good Wife and True Detective. Also, she appeared in two films Liberal Arts One and Two as well as The Twilight Saga, all five of the episodes.
From a young age, Jessica expressed interest in the television and film industries. Modeling was the first step in her profession. When an Australian casting director approached models to audition for roles, she was spotted she was an actor. She booked the role of "Kiki" in the film Lightning Point/Alien Surf Girls. In the years since, her tiny role in Peter Pan and Aquamarine has been observed. On the Netflix Original Series Roman Empire, she played Cleopatra. Also, she appeared in the feature film Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales, which is a classic in the cult genre. Jessica was chosen for the role of the lead character in The Outpost, Talon. She submitted a tape of herself to producers, which included her performance in the role, as well as an additional video of her doing MMA. They asked if Jessica could fight with swords, and she was able to send them a clip of sword combat. Jessica went through the script, and was aware that the character needed weapon training. She recorded her first session with a professional after having read the script. Jonathan Glassner stated that they had awed by Jessica's skills in her initial training session. The Outpost is her first significant film in the US as her previous movies were in Australia. Jessica is able to fully play the role of a strong woman thanks to her love of action, her mixed martial arts expertise, her horse-riding, her weapon and firearms abilities, as well as her athletic skills. In Australia she learned muay Thai along with boxing. On set, shooting Season 4, Jake Stormoen met a stray dog that was roaming the scene. The one dog turned out to be part of an entire litter of pups, which had taken shelter in the set. Jessica was the foster mom to at least two pups.
